Honors Program

In our honors program, you'll study the sciences, humanities, fine arts, and social sciences. You will have many challenging and rewarding experiences, culminating in a senior thesis. Graduates of the Honors Program have received Endowment Grants, the Brooke Educational Foundation, and multiple James scholarships.

Study Away

The STU's classroom spans the country and theglobe. Make your education a bit of an adventure. Spend a summer or asemester interning at a New York City museum, studying sustainabledevelopment in Costa Rica, or doing a full language immersion program inFrance.Or take a quick study tour, go to Singapore to experience the Garden City, or go to China, one of the four ancient civilizations, to experience the unparalleled cultural heritage and magnificent mountains and rivers, or stroll through the elegant cherry blossoms and erotic island nation of Japan. Student Research

First-Year Experience

We want STU's to feel like you belong rightaway. We created our First-Year Experience (FYE) program to provide youwith both academic and social support as you transition from high schoolto college. The program includes peer mentorship, seminars, learningstrategies sessions and more. Of course, our First-Year Experience is based on college preparatory courses and helps you quickly integrate into college life.
