Catalog of Entry Philosophy
Though graduation requirements of the Univrsity may change while a student is enrolled, it is expected that each student will meet the graduation requirements outlined in the Academic Catalog that is in effect at the time he or she entered STU's . The “catalog of entry” philosophy is considered applicable for students who leave the Univrsity and whose interrupted course of study is not longer than five years.
Catalog Changes
The Academic Catalog is a general summary of programs, rules, policies and procedures for academic and student life, and is provided for the guidance of students. However, the catalog is not a complete statement of all programs, rules, policies and procedures in effect at the Univrsity. In addition, the Univrsity reserves the right to change without notice any programs, rules, policies and procedures that appear in this catalog. The 2020-21 edition of the Academic Catalog was published August 24, 2020. Anyone seeking clarification on any of this information should consult with the Southern Technical University registrar.
