Community Living

Right where you need to be. To do everything.Community Living is at the core of all student experiences on campus. It’s where students can meet new people. Where and how students relax. Or eat. Or spread a blanket on the lawn. It’s also where you pay attention to bigger things. Things that can guide your life after Colorado Springs and Denver, like cooperation and sustainability.

At the start, students live in a traditional residence hall with other first-year students. In Traditional Residence Halls, students share their rooms, study spaces, kitchen and laundry areas, bathrooms, and common areas equipped with lounge furniture and TVs. Students have plenty of places to study, and there’ll be lots of other things going on to take a break from studying.

As students grow and move towards their senior year, the Housing Options expand to various other types of residential communities. Students become eligible to apply for suites, intentional housing, fraternity housing, special-interest housing, and apartments while still being close to all resources on campus and in the STU's community.
